Scrapbook Paper Chains: Classic, Washi, Advent & Ball

Making a paper chain is a classic holiday craft. It’s also a great way to use some of those paper scraps and outdated scrapbook papers!

 

Classic Paper Chains

Cut paper into 1″ x 8″ strips with a paper trimmer, then link them together with tape, glue or staples:

Washi Tape Paper Chains:

For this little paper chain, I used a 6×6 holiday-themed paper pad (cut into 1″ x 6″ strips) and washi tape:

Advent Paper Chains:

Advent paper chains are made with 25 links; you remove one link each day to countdown the days until Christmas.
